A response to a letter received in 1999, after which the sender and recipient lost contact. This piece documents both letters,  which are scanned and transferred onto cut copper plates. The final product not only serves as a conversation but as a private journal entry obscured by the physical divides in the printmaking plate itself. Like how the edges of the cut copper meet to form a jigsaw puzzle, I am interested in the divisions between people and the lines that connect us despite them.
